1) The concept: How does the self studio work?
 
On this FAQ page you’ll find answers to common questions about AuraMirror Self Studio in Leipzig, how sessions work and how to use the studio.

At AuraMirror you take your photos yourself — in a fully private space.
You see yourself in a large mirror and trigger the camera using the remote.

After each shot, your photo appears briefly on the monitor (about 5 seconds), so you can instantly check pose, expression and lighting.
 

2) Booking: Time, people & process
 

You book your time slot (30 / 60 / 90 / 120 minutes) easily online.
After a short introduction (about 2–3 minutes), you’re alone in the studio — your booked time starts at that moment.

Groups: Ideal for 1–4 people, maximum 5 per session.

Changes: Rescheduling or cancelling is possible via the link in your booking confirmation. For very short-notice changes, contact us directly.
 

3) Photos: Delivery, editing & quality
 

You receive all photos taken during your session.
Your download link is sent within 48 hours.

Format: Edited images in JPG format. RAW files are not provided.

Editing: Subtle, consistent optimization (for example brightness and contrast). No heavy retouching or high-end beauty retouching.

Look: Delivered in color by default. Black & white available on request.

Quality: Professional studio lighting and high-resolution camera (33 MP) — true studio-level results.

Remote trigger in photos: The remote can be easily hidden and is usually not visible in the final images.
 

4) Preparation: Outfits, music & studio rules
 

Feel free to bring 1–2 outfit changes and plan your look — simple often works best.

Music: A Bluetooth speaker is available. Connect your own music and create your vibe during the session.

Shoes: Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studio. Please bring clean indoor shoes or shoot barefoot / in socks.

Pets: Calm pets are generally welcome as long as you take responsibility and nothing gets damaged or heavily soiled.

Styling: Please arrive mostly ready — only quick touch-ups are possible on site.
 

5) Payment & vouchers
 

Payment is made on site in cash or by card. PayPal can be used as backup if card or cash isn’t available.

Vouchers: Physical gift vouchers are available. Pickup takes place by prior arrangement (for example via WhatsApp or Instagram) at AuraMirror.
